Flowers
Flowers are one of our main crops and play an essential role in peoples’ celebrations and every day lives. Weddings, graduations, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, St. Valentine’s Day, Easter, Christmas and funerals all demand flowers and plants.
We grow a large selection of flowers including Dahlias, Chrysanthemums, Roses, Gladiolas, Sunflowers, Asters, Tulips, Lavender and many more. We grow over 350 different varieties of dahlias and many varieties of roses, glads, asters and tulips. For many years we have competed at local fairs and flower shows with outstanding success. Over the years, we have even had the opportunity to gift a bouquet of our dahlias to Queen Elizabeth II on one of her visits to Victoria!
Joan is a longstanding member of the Victoria Dahlia Society and has been the Convenor of the Flower Section at the Saanich Fair for over 25 years. We sell dahlia tubers and plants, various fresh cut flowers, flower arrangements, hanging baskets, flower and herb planters, heritage apple trees and more. We also cater to weddings and special events. For special orders please email Joan at joanfleming@shaw.ca
